CLARIFYING YOUR NARRATIVE

I’m Will Bennett, and I have over a decade of professional experience editing fiction and creative non-fiction. The manuscripts I’ve worked on have ranged from NYT best-selling novels to screenplays to sports journalism. I’ve spent my entire adult life working on the craft of writing, and my forays have also included playwriting, journalism, and two Masters degrees in creative writing. While I don’t think either of those degrees inherently qualify someone for a successful career as an editor, they do mean countless hours spent in writing workshops – some of which I have taught – and learning the language and methodology for providing an editorial critique that a writer can hear and apply.
